Council Member Dan Halbert is a lifelong resident of Eldorado.  He graduated from Eldorado High School, where he played football, basketball, and baseball.  His love of sports continue to this day.

Dan has worked in the propane industry for 33 years.  He has been a council member for over a year, filling a vacancy in Ward #1.  During his time on the council, he has been a part of many initiatives to update city operations.

He is married to Allene, of Oakdale, Louisiana.  Together they have four children and five grandchildren.
